3C Under The Sea was founded by 3 gentleman that had chaotic lifestyles full of work, school, and Family. It was during this time the 3 sought out a moment of Zen for themselves. Each of them in their own right and path found aquariums to be that Zen. It was with that they realized that they wanted to find a way for others to experience that same tranquility no matter what walk of life they came from, and with that the concept, 3C Under The Sea was born.
It was almost a year later before the company came into fruition with new ideas, and concept to bring new life and new members into the Aquarium world to help a cause. Your 3C Under The Sea Family
3C is going to dive deep and get to the bottom of pollution in the oceans. Sewage, agricultural, and industrial wastes have been flowing into rivers and oceans at an unprecedented rate. It has created Islands of plastic, which span for miles in the pacific, Industrial accidents have caused oil slicks covering thousands of miles of shoreline and destroying peoples livelihoods, however Reef Check helps to research and combat pollution in the ocean. Founded in 1996, the Reef Check Foundation exists to help preserve the oceans and reefs, which are critical to our survival, yet are being destroyed. With headquarters in Los Angeles and volunteer teams in more than 90 countries and territories, Reef Check works to protect tropical coral reefs and California rocky reefs through education, research and conservation.”
Military Suicide Prevention
Service members and veterans face many stressors that can increase their risk for suicide. Risk factors include both combat and peacetime challenges, like traumatic experiences and frequent moves. Left unaddressed, stressors can become overwhelming. Service members and veterans may be more vulnerable to substance use disorders and mood disorders because of high levels of stress. Both disorders are associated with military suicide. Other stressors that increase suicide risk include relationship problems, work problems and disciplinary or legal issues. Suicide is a national health problem that is preventable. Its prevention is of special concern to the military community because active-duty service members and veterans account for approximately 20-22 percent of all deaths from suicide in the United States. 3C wants to not only help advocate suicided prevention, but also help to ease the pain of individuals in need by supplying them a Zen like aquarium.
